Tired City Hang Manh, Hanoi

Between the chaos in the streets of Hanoi with endless shops of pushy vendors selling the same bad quality souvenirs, you will find Tired City. A shop with a different and modern approach. Tired City sells a small selection of high quality t-shirts, postcards and souvenirs with an ironic feel. Their "postcard for your enemy" collection is really cute and funny at the same time. Cute pictures with mean text. They also have a nice collection of good quality art of Hanoi. I bought some propaganda postcards which are so much better than any other I found in Hanoi shops. Even though the prices are a bit higher, the quality and service make up for it. With the discount I got, I even paid less for the postcards than in the souvenirshops down the road. The store has a modern and simple look. The lady at the store spoke good English and was very friendly. It was her kind way of inviting us in and the explanations of their concepts that made the store stand out. They say they work with local artist and try to bring a refreshing air to the Vietnam Merchandise market and I think they do a good job in achieving that.
