Very beautiful mausoleum of Timur. Ornate mosaics on the outside. Not as grand as Registon but still a place of historical significance.
This a good place to start your exploration of the historic sites if Samarkand. It is not as big of a circus as the famous Registan, but the decoration is no less impressive. The tomb room is particularly noteworthy and awe-inspiring.
