Wonderfull place with a crazy coloured path to the lake. If you walk discreetly, wild life will manifest to you.

Took the incredible and encouragingly challenging hike from Tuolumne Meadows! Saw woodpeckers in full action, what appeared to be several Chipmunks, deer, and a snake of about 20-24 inches, black hugged by yellow. A peaceful lake set to gorgeous backdrops at every angle. Can't wait to return and have lunch on a large flat rock that was about 15 feet out from Land!
