Gibbon Falls is a waterfall on the Gibbon River in northwestern Yellowstone National Park in the United States. Gibbon Falls has a drop of approximately 84 feet (26 m). The falls are located roadside, 4.7 miles (7.6 km) upstream from the confluence of the Gibbon and Firehole Rivers at Madison Junction on the Grand Loop Road.

  • ⛰ Beautiful spot to stop! We saw all handful of views in about 20min and were glad we did. Definitely take the path along the river down from the main spot. It is way less crowded and you get the best views from there!!!
  • This falls is visible with just a 2 minute walk from Parking lot. There is a nice hut with info board inside it. Great place to see greenery of Yellowstone from a higher altitude. It continuous to a trail leading to further locations.
