  • Extremely disappointed. They no longer offer the holiday shopping in the house. It was such a lovely event that I looked forward to attending annually with a few of my friends. When I went last...

  • If you're ever in San Francisco. I highly recommend it. The gardens are yes fabulous. It was phenomenal, peaceful, gorgeous. The place is well taken care off. The flowers are beautiful!!! 😍 Just spontaneous as soon as you walk in. This staff is welcoming. I love the turkeys. Walking in and when I walked out.
  • This is a spectacular house with lots of rich history, and an equally impressive garden. There are signs leading up to Filoli as you approach it, so it’s hard to miss. It’s around half a mile or so drive from the main road until the house. The ticket is 25 dollars per person for adults, and there’s ample free parking. We visited on a Sunday in November, and it was decently busy. The house is expansive, and it takes you through history, and the staff does an excellent job of ensuring that you feel what people who lived here once felt. The kitchens, the dumbwaiter, the antique television and other items—all of it is quite invaluable, and provides an equally invaluable peek into history. The gardens outside are great as well, and the various vibrant colours took our breath away. I can imagine it only getting better in spring. There’s a cafe called “Quail Cafe” where you can buy coffee and other food items and the restrooms are right next to the cafe. Both the cafe and the restrooms are located inside the visitor center. The vegetable garden is wonderful too. It took us around 2-2.5 hours to explore the house and garden, and it’s an experience to savour. We will be back here again.
