  • Beautiful trails! We took miller trail then moved into upper trail, ridge trail, contour trail, Blackhawk, redwood. The trails are very easy to locate as they are well numbered all along the route. Hence it was easier to move from one into another trail. The nature is so relaxing with lots and lots of Blue jay, and other birds, chirping and the small water stream all surrounded red oaks. The trials are not very difficult hence it is worth exploring with kids too.
  • While looking for nearby camping spots in the Bay Area, I stumbled upon this gem less than 2 hours away from my base point. So curiosity in hand, we went to check it out on one fine sunny day in June. It's a well spaced county park with many different parts. There are hiking areas to explore, tent, RV, yurt and group camping areas, beautiful views, trees and scenic points of interest like the visitor center, Miller ruins and archery range. Have yet to camp here but am saving it for a future visit! The ranger upon entry was really helpful and provided a map and info. Please respect the land - pack it in and pack it out; leave no trace, fam. Oh and parking is $6
