Ventura Food Tours aren’t your typical walking tours. Instead, our tours offer a unique blend of food tasting, local history, culinary education, and of course, walking. Our tours are fun and intimate, giving guests a behind the scenes look into some of the area’s best eateries.

From that tiny French bakery tucked away in downtown Santa Barbara, to that favorite fish taco in Ventura, it is our pleasure to share these wonderful food finds with our guests. Whether you're a visitor, new to SoCal, or if you've lived here forever, our tours are sure to delight.

Our guided walking tours are approximately 3 ½ hours. Throughout the course of the tour we stop at six different locations – some for larger sit down tastings and others for a few bites and a conversation with the chef.

Topics along the tour route may include:

- The chocolate making process

- How to pair fine wine with the perfect, complimentary cheese

- The nuances of California olive oil

- Local history and architectural points of interest

Guests will also sample food from a variety of cuisines - from Indian food to tacos, pommes frites to cupcakes. Maybe you like trying new things, maybe you like experiencing a new town through its food, or maybe you just like to eat.
