The only place in the United States where four states intersect as one point, Four Corners Monument was originally marked in 1912 with a simple cement pad. The monument has since been renovated and now features a granite and brass pad that is decorated with flags from each state. Stand and take a photo at the crossroad. Or visit the demonstration center with Navajo artisans and pick up handmade jewelry and crafts. You'll have the opportunity to sample traditional Navajo food at nearby vendors. Take water with you--there is no running water or electricity at this site. Make Four Corners Monument a centerpiece of your Teec Nos Pos vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Teec Nos Pos day trip planner.

As we approached, we weren’t sure we were in the right place. Not at all what we expected. Felt like we were entering low rate trashy carnival. A marathon was going on and the runners/walkers were...

Most everybody's review is spot on. It's out of the way. It's overpriced. And there's nothing else there. You have to want to be there. We had multiage stops during the last few miles due to road...

It's a little out there, but it was a great stop on our road trip. We went early day it was easy to get some pictures without other people in them. The shops along the outer part of the moment were great to look at and talk to the vendors. It is kid friendly and a great place to bring your family.

About 45 minutes from the closest town, but worth the trip if you're in the area. All around the monument are vendors selling their wares (similar to a county fair) but not overwhelming or detrimental to the monument itself. We arrived when fewer people were there and were able to get some photos without having to wait too long. If you're just arriving, and there is a crowd, please be considerate that others who are just standing there may be waiting to take a photo (some people just walk up with little to no awareness of what is going on).
