Taylor Creek Visitor Center, South Lake Tahoe

This is a lovely area for an easy walk. The viewing chamber was closed due to repairs needed because of vandalism, but the rest of the trail was nice. They've added a wooden walking bridge since I was there last, I think for conservation and because of unstable swampy ground. I enjoyed it very much.

Love love love the new areas of board walk that was built. Last year when we visited the beavers had made a dam that flooded the beginning of the trail. They did a wonderful job making a pathway over the area. It was beautiful.....though it's still a real shame that someone broke the glass to the steam profile chamber.
