Puzzle Room Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe

One of the locks was broken in our room and they had to bolt cut it off. The rooms lack the fun little details of other escape room companies we've used. The room was "intermediate" but felt pretty easy. The place asn't very clean. Had to walk through the women's bathroom handwash area to get to the room we did. Overall an odd place and priced the same as the really nice ones we have done in the Sacramento area. Still fun to do any escape room though.

We did two puzzles one day apart. Onlu our second escape room attempt ever, we began in The Lost Cabin. Because it was so fun, affordable, and we had time, we called short notice and were able to squeak into the Valley of the Kings for another quest. The story lines are fun, the instructions easy, and the puzzles challenging enough, but not for the faint of heart. In the Lost Cabin (beginner 60% escape rate), we were allowed five hints and used three of them and narrowly escaped with 3 minutes to spare. In the Valley of the Kings (intermediate 40% escape rate), we used four hints and escaped with 10 minutes to spare.
