  • Short: Really cool in terms of visual design and exhibits. But, accessibility clearly isn’t a major consideration. Details: This museum is honestly really cool. Ive looked it up multiple times before and I recall every time there being at least one exhibit I was excited about. The place is obviously beautiful. But. As a first time visitor with mobility limitations I was honestly frustrated and disappointed. The map honestly made it more confusing than just looking around to find my way. It was disappointing to be clearly entering the back of the exhibit when using the elevator. The extreme slowness of the elevator was aggravating. There were some tight spaces I could barely navigate as a fat person and would not be able to navigate in a chair. There were some installations that would’ve been impossible to see properly in a chair. And there are some audio and visual aspects that would’ve been disappointing at best to experience if you couldn’t sit on the small designated seating. There was also fairly limited seating to get out of the way and rest. So although I loved it and want to go back… I really think they should put some more effort into accessibility.
  • I didn't expect to like this place as much as I did. The sound lab is really run to try all the instruments. The Horror Exhibit was AMAZING. The music exhibits were done on a really great way showing the history and making it fun. The afrocustom exhibit was cool to see and learn about. Definitely a must see.
