Pinnacle Peak Park features a 2.8 km (1.75 mi) hiking trail with three rock-climbing spots and a desert environment, highlighted by treelike cacti and rich wildlife. Free-roaming mule deer, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, and foxes inhabit the park's 61 hectares (150 acres), along with numerous other critters, including an abundance of snakes and lizards. You can begin the hike at the visitor center, which offers water and restrooms. Follow the moderate hike, with several ups and downs, to get to the final point, at an elevation of 880 m (2,890 ft). From there, you'll see the 966 m (3,169 ft) Pinnacle Peak summit, which can only be reached by rock climbers. My all time favorite hike. Seem to always run into friends. Love it! Always help tourist take their photos. A good workout with close to 4 miles if you run all the way to gate. Fun to run, but caution to the several other hikers. Near Four Seasons Resort. Enjoy!
Beautiful scenery and an even better hiking trail! Not to challenging if a hike, the elevation changes are always the most challenging part in my opinion. Glad we went earlier in the morning when it was nice and cool. I’d imagine it gets quite hot. Beautiful landscape and more Cacti than you can count! So much diverse wildlife! love how they have educational tidbits as you walk!
