We had a blast on our bike rentals for 4 hrs! We rode the beach bike path from Santa Monica to Venice and back. Stopped along the way at whalers restaurant for a beverage and continued on! A must...

Rented 2 bikes. Straight foward bike rental place. $8/hour with $50 deposit. Must have an ID of some sort. They take Costco cards in place of your driver's id. The process took 5 minutes or less. The bikes we got were in great shape. Had no problem peddling to Venice and back.

A Latin employee of about 40 years treated us aggressively, then I realized that it was to move us while his colleague confronted us with sympathy. He asked us for a credit card for the deposit and a driver's license, on the way back he charged us 50 dollars for the two bicycles in cash, the surprise was that arriving home and looking at the bank account of the card charged us 50 dollars too. a scam a robbery, be careful, I could not do anything because I left the los angeles the next day
