Ulistac Natural Area is 40 acres of open space in the City of Santa Clara. Surrounded by apartment and office buildings, it is amazing how peaceful Ulistac is! It's a great place to walk, run, and get in touch with nature. Dogs are welcome on a 6ft leash.Using our world travel planner, Santa Clara attractions like Ulistac Natural Area can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.
Since 2000, volunteers have been working to restore Ulistac from ex-golf course scrub land to a beautiful native California Habitat. In turn this has attracted lots of native wildlife. We still have many more years of work before the project is complete. In the meantime, please come and explore, enjoy what is there, and perhaps lend a hand in returning this to paradise.
Want to Volunteer at Ulistac? Come along to one of our regular work sessions. These are held on the First Saturday and Third Sunday of every month. Work hours are 9am - 12pm. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Bring water, any snacks you might want. Sunscreen and a hat are advised.

Discovered this place a while back but never stopped to actually take a look at what was behind the entrance. Nice place to get out and get some steps and catch the sun coming up or going down. I listed closer to sunset in the evening and it looks like a great place to take a nice walk and enjoy the peace and quiet. I will definitely be back to figure out what else this relaxing environment has to offer.

good place for a nice walk. Has a biking lane and jogger track. You'll also see alot of squirrels here..there was many coyote alert signs. Dogs need to be on leash or are most not allowed. parking spots are around the place near another park
