Ryptic Room Escape, San Mateo

Came here with a group of 5 to do the Asylum escape room and we had 6 minutes to spare! Alyssa was our game master and did an awesome job explaining everything. Also very generous with hints so we didn't really feel too stuck at any times. Overall the experience was really chill - honestly not as scary or immersive as other escape rooms but had some really innovative mechanics which made us work our brain a bit extra. It was fun to go through each room to solve the puzzles and discover clues. Difficulty I'd say was a 3/5. I would have liked perhaps something a bit more immersive and higher production value, but it was still a good time.

This was really fun. Our group had a mix of experienced escape room folks and some newbies. Across the group, everyone was really pleased (even the experienced folks!) and we loved our host. She was really in character and it helped amp up the experience and mood for the whole group. We did "Escape the Asylum" and were a group of 9. Thanks
