  • Visited for free since they participate in the Bank of America Museums on Us Program. A very informative exhibit of history and California culture. Then there’s a super fun interactive exhibit that allows you to earn real cash for charity from playing in a couple of activities at different stations. I absolutely love the gamification and getting to pick which worthy cause I wanted to donate to. Haven’t ever seen this before but I think it’s a fantastic idea. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
  • Had a great afternoon here on a Sunday in August. We (group of 4 adults) got to take advantage of the $2 discount when ordering online (I believe it was for the month of Aug when they were turning over many exhibit areas). Still worth the visit even though we did miss out on a few sections. Really enjoyed all the video and audio and photo displays of influential women. The missions history and huge CA quilt and ceiling mural is beautiful. I’ll definitely keep checking the website to see when new exhibits are open.
