The St. Stanislaus Kostka is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, located in Rochester, Monroe County, New York. St. Stanislaus Kostka Church is the distinctive church structure located on the corner of Hudson Avenue and Norton Street in the city's northeast corner. The church is the spiritual home of Rochester's Polish American community. This Catholic church was dedicated in 1909 and replaced a smaller wooden church. The St. Stanislaus grammar school operated from 1897 until 1992.

The exterior features a Romanesque Revival architecture style including arched openings, and

columns. The most striking part of the exterior is the eastern European-inspired domed steeple, which rises 120 feet above the ground. A ceiling mural of the Trinity and Communion of saints was created by Buffalo artist Jozef Mazur. A $500,000 restoration project was completed in 2014.
The church's patron, Saint Stanislaus Kostka (1550–1568), was a Polish Jesuit canonized in 1726. St. Stanislaus is one of the few churches in the US to house a relic of the late Pope John Paul II.
The Church sponsors an annual Polish Arts Festival in August.

  • Hadn't been here in several years. It is the mot beautiful church. Old churches are the best. Even though it was a funeral it was great to see the stained glass windows & statues. Beautiful!!!

  • Great going home. The festival was very comfortable. The live band-- polka music 🎶 and Toddlers dancing made us all smile. Old and young dancing! Crowds very friendly. Games to play. Raffles to support the parish. Produce stand had canned pickles and more. The food ! Great memories brought back to light.
  • My comment is not on the church but on the annual Polish Fest hosted by the church. It looks like a great communal event for local Polish Americans but not very welcoming for outsiders who are just interested in cultural diversity. Not too many things to do, no church tour, no dancing as advertised. The worst thing to me is when I bought $7 for 2 potato pancakes, I had been in the line for a while and have seen most of the boxes were filled with pancakes that could not even fit, and at my turn, out of two full trays, the lady intentionally gave me the two tiniest pieces, I personally think she should have given us 3 small ones, or at least 1 small 1 big. To make it worse, she gave the man right after me big ones and whispered to him “especially for you”. This is discrimination because we are the only Asians there?!! Not coming back and not recommending it to anyone.
