It's a nice park out in the suburbs and worth a visit if you are in the area. A good place for a picnic or a gathering outdoors.

This is a big and pleasant park on the southern edge of town. Known by the locals but probably not often visited by tourists from out-of-town. A treasure.

Beautiful place to see in winter, especially the snow covered trees. I snowshoed the nature trail in mid January and there was a well defined track that easily followed the actual trail. It also seemed like the other trails in the area were geared for snowshoeing.

Galena Creek Regional Park is a nice park to spend the day hiking in the forest. There is a nature loop trail, Galena Creek which runs through the park, a nice pond for fishing, a historic fish hatchery building, and easy access to more hiking trails in the area.
