The Soap Factory, Provo

This place is kind of out of order. The customer service wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. I could tell the helpers were all inexperienced. Many of the soap scents were disgusting... I almost gagged a few times - wish they had better ones that actually smells like a soap instead of like some sort of oriental medicine. A lot of the tools were dirty too. Not a bad experience for one time, but I'm not sure if I would go back.

I would highly recommend the Soap Factory for anyone looking for a fun family activity, cheap date night, or cool way to kill some time in downtown Provo. Though there was only one person working the majority of the time I was there, we had fairly short wait times and the employee was very kind and went out of his way to be helpful. They have a very large variety of colors, moulds, scents, and mix-ins (such as sugar, salt, and coffee grounds) to add to the soap. They also have the option to paint details on to the soap, which I thought was very fun! The experience lasted about an hour and half and only cost $20 for two people.
