  • Beautiful to visit (especially as an alum). Hard to take a bad photo of this campus!
  • My son attended Vassar for freshman and sophomore years. There are some academic experiences that were unparalleled. But the social environment almost killed him. Most of the people he encountered acted like entitled rich high school kids. They truly hadn’t grown beyond 16, and maybe they won’t ever. There was no student support for what he was trying to navigate, no appropriate counseling, guidance, meditation, nothing. On paper this was his ‘perfect’ college. I am thankful and relieved that he won’t be returning this fall.
