  • Compared to other NP Visitor Centers, this one is the least interactive for kids, no taxidermied animals to look at, just an outdated lifted map of Mt. Rainier on a table. There is a theater room...

  • This is a great spot to see the beautiful mountain and go for hiking. There are many good trails and awesome waterfall near by this place. I visited last weekend here and the scenic view was very very beautiful from here. Fortunately, it was a sunny day, so the view was more beautiful.
  • Came late June and it was cold outside so came inside to eat. Its warm inside with few seats some comfy couches if you can snag one. Picnic tables outside. Bathrooms clean. Staff inside helpful. Inside you can buy, sunglasses, food, hats, walking sticks, socks, shirts, some medicine, books, mugs, etc. There is a small theatre. Probably showing some informational videos
