If you like nature it is the best place for you. By bike it's 30 minutes from Stanford University. You can do it even by the city bike :) The place is really wild and beautiful

Nice parking lot, free, beautiful views, small visitor center with information about local wildlife and Ohlone history. Nice bathrooms. Parts of the hike have little to no shade so bring sun gear. The trails are gravel and dirt (not wheelchair or stroller friendly). Great place for families. Wish the hikes were a bit more accessible.

Great place to hike. There is a vista point about 2.5 miles down the trail, which was good. It was easy to find parking at 8 am on a Saturday. More people started coming in and the lot was getting full around 9 - 10 am.
