The powder capital of Colorado, Wolf Creek Ski Resort receives more average annual snowfall than any other ski resort in the state. Every powder hound's dream come true, the resort covers a skiable area of over 640 hectares (1,600 acres). You can choose from 77 trails, the longest of which stretches for just over 3 km (2 mi). Although the resort does not offer flashy restaurants and typical tourist stores, it does provide hardcore skiers with a longer season than almost any other ski area in the country. Check the website for updated snow reports, trail conditions, and ski area closings before you make the trip. Skiing was good, when we could see. Had white out conditions one day. Service crew preparing food works hard, could use more help, but like many places the staff is limited.

Wolf Creek Ski area was great! It is a massive ski basin with a lot of runs for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, intermediate or expert, there are slopes for all of the ski levels! They even have some area for cross country skiing. The facilities are nice as well. The ski shop is large and typically busy in the mornings. The snow board hut is small but they have plenty equipment. If you can buy your lift ticket online or rent your equipment online I would recommend it. I could not during this trip. All of the facilities were nicely maintained. The bathroom was very well keep and clean for a ski resort. The hot chocolate was not very good but the hamburger was decent. Wolf Creek Ski area gets the most snow in Colorado. This year has been a 'down' year according to locals but the slopes we're still fantastic! I would highly recommend coming here.

First time skiing and I had a great time. They had a nice beginner's area and great beginner slopes which was awesome. Everyone has to start somewhere, right? Ski lift tickets were reasonable. I would recommend Wolf Creek! Thanks
