What a wonderful place to visit! We had a terrific day there. Take the free tour at 1 pm. Don't miss Maya Lin's Wave. Take the tram when you get tired.

Great experience for the family. Nice vibes all around. All the employees we spoke to were friendly. Sculptures from small to HUGE, even some interactive. Nice easy walk. There are some nice trail options as well or simply walk the open field to some amazing pieces. Two draw backs to Storm King: Only one indoor restroom area by the indoor museum (all others are port-a-potty). And the Cafe was expensive for very basic food. Neither ended up deterring us from any fun as we mapped out our walk to hit the museum right before lunch. Which we also brought our own food to picnic outside. Plenty of benches, tables, beautiful sights, walking space, bicycle rentals, a tram for easier transportation throughout the park. Just a great way for the family to combine a museum and a park visit in one outing.
Perhaps the most sensational collection of sculptures in the country. The art is spectacular but the beautiful upstate landscape really did it for us. Would love to return and rent bicycles or attend an event (like an outdoor movie screening). Wonderful even in the rain. We recommend spending a few hours here. And bring good walking shoes.
