  • While camping in the area our family spent several hours here on a Saturday. It’s a very nice and well kept living history village.

  • We came here for a birthday celebration that was hosted in their meeting rooms, and then were free to explore the grounds. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but it was nice seeing period-dressed...

  • This was our first visit to the Genesee Country Village & Museum. I was taken back by the size of this village. Though similar to the Buffalo-Niagara Heritage Village, this one was much larger. We arrived at opening and stayed until close, there was that much to see. We visited on a day that they were highlighting different trades from each time period. The reenactors were knowledgeable in their areas and answered all the kids' questions. Overall, it was a fun and educational trip for the whole family.
  • I was recently at the museum for a members-only tour, which was phenomenal. We learned background of and were allowed entry to certain buildings that aren't open to the public (they're view from doors and windows only). It was a thrill for someone like me, who loves history and old architecture. The staff were wonderful and warm and very knowledgeable. It's a joy being a member here.
