Didn't find anything too special about this beach. It's quiet and quaint. I think it would be a nice place for a quiet picnic. Its not as crowded as Santa monica which is nice. It's got bathrooms and a parking lot. Public tables and a volleyball net. Playground for kids and felt safe at least before dark. Seemed like a good family friendly area. You can find electric scooters in the area and get to Venice beach

I went in the morning to watch the sunrise over the apartments. It was chilly, but the views were well worth the 6am alarm The beach has a children's playground, bathrooms, olleyball nets, plenty of parking (at least in the morning), rowing rentals. What was cool about going early in the morning was that I saw a maintenance guy blowing out the sand on the play structure using a lead blower. It was nice to see that the city keeps the structures decent looking for the kiddos!
