This area of the park is easily accessible and an excellent illustration of the geothermal activity in the park. The bubbling mud pots were fascinating. there was a babbling brook as well, easier to.... more

Up close and personal with Mother Nature's Power. It was a great experience hiking up to the Sulphur Works from the Visitor Center during the winter time. I suggest checking the website for accessibility during the winter. We made it without the snow shoes. Trail was compacted (from previous hikers 😄) making it easier to hike on and not worry about postholing. The park rangers here were very friendly and helpful. Winter Pass is also $10

Five stars isn't adequate, tbh! Awesome couple of boiling mud pots and plumes of steam all aorund, from many small and large vents. Wonderful smell of sulphur as one approaches! Walked the
