  • Nice and not a huge crowd; Be sure to visit Bumpass Hell. I didn't like was bed in the cabin at the park. Thin mattress might of well slept in my truck.

  • Beautiful lake, mostly flat trail around the lake that will take you about an hour to circle around the lake. Beautiful sunset here, red-winged black birds and other species can be found here including a bald eagle. Kayaking, SUP or fishing. We were here on memorial weekend and thought we could rent some kayaks or boats but they are not renting it yet so being your own. They say maybe around July they will be available.
  • This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. We stayed on the C-Loop with our teardrop and enjoyed the space between the campsites. The bear boxes were first rate. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and while the showers we expensive at $5 per, there were no quarters required and no time limit. Add to it that the shower room was clean and tidy. It was worth EVERY BIT of the $5. The campground store was neat and had any supplies you might need. And the best part is an early morning or sunset walk around Manzanita Lake. This place is a treasure.
