We hiked this and devils kitchen the same afternoon. It is amazing. Such a large geothermal lake with bubbling features. Well worth the short hike - less than a mile each way.

The hike to Boiling Springs Lake is about 2.4 miles round trip, with maybe 300 feet of elevation. It’s only about a mile to get up to the lake, but the trail leads you in a loop around the lake...

I was here on 9/13/2020. It is limited parking. It is an easy hike from Devils Kitchen, it’s about 2.5 miles round trip, not much of elevation gain. 90% of the trail is shady. I saw a lot of birds,butterflies,deer, but no bear. The lake is low but i was able to see one spot in a mud pit boiling. The lake is so stunning, very colorful around it. it is breathtaking. The lake is worth to see.

The trail head is at Warner Valley. Dirt road. This lake is wonderful! I hiked it first thing 7am and was the only one around. The easy loop around gives you perspective from various vantage points. The most scenic is when you have the lake in front of you with the mountain range in the background. It's truly beautiful!
