While waiting in line to ascend the Eiffel Tower, my lady and I inadvertently overheard the conversation of the couple behind us. Was obvious that the young lad and his companion had only just met from their palaver. As we were admiring the scenery, we also caught a glimpse of said couple. The young man looked like someone from, say, Kansas. The woman was absolutely stunning! Young and classically gorgeous. Dressed to kill, but in a sophisticated way. Obviously, that trip up the Eiffel Tower cost that young lad I’d guess a cool $1,000. Trust me, she was worth it! Only reason I mention it, that was the most interesting aspect of the attraction for us. $25/person to take an elevator ride up and look out over Sin City. (I wonder if they’d have let us go free if we had offered to walk. Hmmm.) It’s a cool view, but not sure it’s worth the time and money. The line was rather ponderous. Luckily, we had that floor show to keep us entertained.
