The Irvine Spectrum Center is an outdoor shopping center developed by the Irvine Company, located in the Irvine Spectrum district on the southeast edge of Irvine, California. The mall features Nordstrom and Target department stores, a ferris wheel, and a Regal Cinemas 21-screen movie theater. Built over a 10-year period, the first phase of the center opened in 1995 and the second phase followed in 1998. The third phase was completed in 2002. The fourth and fifth phases were built and completed between 2005 and 2006. The mall was used for establishing shots of the fictional "Mall of Miami" in the Disney Channel television series Austin and Ally.

  • First time here just a fantastic place to shop, relax and for the entire family to enjoy. So many things for kids to be entertained. A large screen where they can see themselves , a horse carousel ride, a large Ferris wheel, the kids can be enjoying these attraction while you shop or just relax , great tea and coffee shops . You may need a jacket at night , kind of cold . Great parking . Many bane brand stores . Kind of an outdoor mall . Closes at 10 pm
  • This is still a cool place to come and spend a few hours. Lots of restaurants, lots of shopping stores, and a movie theater! This place looks the nicest at night! And if you get on the Ferris Wheel, you’ll get a nice view of the Spectrum and it’s surrounding area! Parking gets insanely busy, but that’s to be expected, no matter if you are parking outside or in the parking structures, they all get really busy, especially at peak hours. We went around 5 pm on a Saturday, parking was already very limited and busy. Just be patient. They do offer valet parking too! Not sure how much. They have a carousel and a play area for the kids, a Ferris wheel, a Virtual reality Game Center, a movie theater, a davie & buster, etc. excellent for walking with a group of friends, or for a couple and even to fly solo!
