  • Clearly the staff are not very motivated, guess this must come from the management the customer service was poor, unfriendly and very basic.

  • In a word: stunning! The Half Moon Bay Golf Links, which are adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, are two of the most beautiful courses in the world. The “Ocean Course” sits to the left of the hotel, above the ocean, with Pacific Ocean views on one side and mountains on the other side- breathtaking beauty in all directions. The “Old Course” (not reviewed here) is less scenic. Both courses are 18 holes. While the views are world class, the weather can be fickle. It gets cold and a bit damp in the area, even on a summer day, so dress accordingly.
  • I played the Ocean course which was in fantastic condition and offered a good mix of challenging holes and scoring holes. Staff were all great and it’s obviously a beautiful location. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for.
