Ironically amid covid, really enjoyed the isolation from other people on the beach, hardly anyone here on a weds afternoon. Blissful strokes of the waves and open scenery makes this a great spot.

We enjoyed Dunes Beach during the day. We took a walk, watched the sea gulls, and enjoyed seeing the Pacific Ocean. We returned at night to see the full moon. It was a wonderful day.

Excellent beach with a lot of space. The beach is not deep but it is very wide. There is a 10$ fee for a parking located at 2 minutes from the beach. The path is narrow and steep but if you have a wagon with wheels you will be fine. There is a restroom in the parking lot with about 6 toilets. Unfortunately very dirty. The sand is soft, the water has a lot of wave. We visited Ilin early August and the weather was cloudy but warm enough to be in short and t-shirt.

Volunteered today w/California State Park Foundation & California State Parks for Earth Day Event 🌎 so much fun & lots to do in the dunes, along the bike trail & the parking lot. Pulling up evasive iceplant but keeping the native wild strawberries 🍓
