  • The roaring fork motor trails is like an umbrella of more trails. We hiked to Grotto Falls and a historic cemetery. There were also more trails within roaring fork motor trails and scenic overlooks...

  • Beautiful scenery and a very peaceful drive for sure! Plenty of photo spots, and so cool just riding through with the windows down. We didn't get to see any bears, but did hear some people talking about one after we had gone through, but we did get to see some wolves and other wild life. Plus got some great photos.
  • Beautiful waterfalls, and creek views, cliffs rising up from the ground, forest views, and bears! We saw nearly a dozen bears when we went. There are a few pull off spots to walk around and take in the sights and sounds of nature. A couple of trailheads if you're interested. And one outhouse style shelter to use the restroom. It took us about 90 minutes to drive through. But could have been longer or shorter based off how many times you stop and how long you stop. Wonderful experience.
