Part of one of the world's Seven Natural Wonders, North Rim Visitor Center provides an inspiring and remarkable landscape without the massive crowds of the South Rim. Begin your trip at the visitor center, where you can pick up maps and brochures, talk to a ranger, and view exhibits about the canyon. One of the best ways to experience all that the North Rim has to offer is a hike through its wild and breathtaking scenery. If you'd rather not get that much exercise, cruise the scenic drive. Temperatures here are generally lower than the South Rim due to its greater elevation, so bring a sweater. North Rim guided mule treks are easier to book than South Rim mule trips, which generally must be booked 13 months in advance. Just went to Ross off bucket list and did the Bright Angel Point hike. Beautiful scenery. But entrance to park moved very slowly.

Super nice would love to have been able to stay there. Did not like the fact that they had the doors Locked on one side of the balcony we had to walk back to the other side (Not cool). They blamed it on Corona but for the life of me I cant see any benefit. Still pretty cool from what we saw of it.
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is almost as good as the South Rim. It is much easier to get into as there doesn't seem to be so many people touring the North Rim. We only had 1 day to spend here, but we were able to make it a wonderful power-packed day, with 3 hikes and dinner a Jacob's Lake Inn for a great dinner after a very long and tiring day. Jacob's Lake Inn also has some wonderful souvenirs. The whole family totally loved this trip!
