When Broadway West Theatre was founded in 1997, the objective was to provide quality theatre in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere for an affordable price. The historic building, Clark's Hall in Fremont, has become the home of Broadway West for the last 18 years. The decor is Victorian and the atmosphere is reminiscent of the small theatres off-Broadway in New York. With close to 400 season ticket holders, many who have been so for years, the theatre has established a real connection to the community. First-timers can come and not only enjoy a great show with complimentary refreshments, but take in the past of Broadway West through the picture boards displayed throughout the theatre. Broadway West's fine reputation speaks for itself - it is a venue where theatre-goers can truly have a wonderful experience. Before you head to Fremont, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Fremont online route builder, to make sure you see all that Fremont has to offer, including Broadway West Theatre Company.

We bought season tickets each year. The closed mid season and we were not able to see 3 planned plays. The theatre was taken over by Made Up Theatre but it is not our cup of tea.

Small and cozy place with approx 60 seating capacity. Has a good structure to it. The actor talent is excellent. During the 15 min break of the play, they offer tea/coffee with light snacks. They should do such showes more often.

This is what theatre for mainstream people should be: It only holds about 75 people so everyone has an awesome seat, and the price is fair, parking easy, the people nice, the acoustics excellent (no microphones needed) and most important, the plays are unerringly appealing to a mainstream audience.
