This is a hidden gem in the Santa Cruz mountains. Access to the area involves driving through narrow and windy one-lane streets in a residential area. The lake which is the centerpiece of the place.... more

Awesome spot to hike around and rent paddle boats in the lake. There’s a little snack bar that had some candy, chips, granola, fruit, soda and ice cream. A lot more to choose from than I expected but heavy on sugar. There’s a lot of family friendly picnic areas with bbq grills near the water and places to fish, both on land and from boats.
