A doable hike for most, or push yourself and bike in and go farther. Great in-between meeting spot for folks coming from Sacramento or San Francisco. Particularly beautiful in the spring. A treasure..... more

This seems like a nice trail/park however, There is a $3 per person fee, plus $1 per pet fee. Seemed nice but didn’t want to pay.

Really enjoyed coming to this park with the family. A short hike that’s worth it at the end with a lake view. Plan for 1-2 hrs here. Lots of vineyards to see on your way up there. There are quite a few mountain bikers , so keep that in mind of having to move often to the side for them .

Me and 3 of my sisters met up in CA for a sisters trip. We hiked here a couple times during our stay. Both hikes were about 4-5 miles and we took a different path each time. This park is amazing!! Both hikes we did uphill. One was more strenuous then the other. One sister has a bum knee so we started out with her on a lower, more level path and then retraced our steps, dropped her at a picnic table to enjoy the views and continued on our more vigorous hike. This place is beautiful! I would highly recommend if you are in the area. Park was clean. Trails are marked but we didn't really use the map. We did pay to get in but totally worth it.
