  • I stopped by when they were having their 150th anniversary. They had a short tour of the house and let you check out the other building there (I think the creamery). It was free, which was super awesome of them. The only thing I will forewarn about is if they do tours, be ready to know they do tours. When I got there, I went straight to the house and didn't see signs stating there were tours or which door they started at. I walked in through the unofficial exit and a gentleman let me know that's where the tour ended. And there weren't any signs for when they strted, like 'tours every 5 minutes' or 'on the hour.' When he told me, I kinda felt like the bad guy for not knowing. But the experience as a whole made up for it.
  • Nice place to see a piece of history and read about the past. Not sure why their sign directs visitors to a trailhead when the path from parking is much more direct.
