The view is outstanding. Of course the wine was excellent. The day I was at the winery, they had a husband and wife singing....they were fantastic. Unfortunately, it was super hot that day but...

The ambience here is outstanding. There was live entertainment featuring a duet act of 2 guys on guitars playing old favorites. The wine was good and grapes are all locally sourced. The winemaker came over and gave us some info. Amazing experience.

It's always wonderful to find somewhere new that's close to home and also great to visit. I always think that a limited number of wines, carefully made, with passion, is preferable to a long slate of wines, however varied they are. The team at Hungry Hawk were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate to share. We enjoyed a tasting plus a long picnic lunch (we brought ours from Brothers' Provision in RB) on the terrace, overlooking the valley below. Highly recommended.
