  • About an hour and a half of generally level hike over some loose rock but mostly sand~ you arrive at an oasis! Plan on spending an hour there....so 4 hour commit!

  • Strongly suggest hiking this trail in the morning. We started at noon and the sun and heat were intense. Make sure you bring a lot of water. The waterfall is incredible. It wasn't crowded. Really great experience! Totally worth the 3 mile hike in.
  • Great moderate hike to a really nice waterfall. One of the best hikes in the area - parking fills up! Plan to arrive in the morning for guaranteed parking. We arrived about 8:30 am and was easy to get a spot but lots of people right behind us. When we left around noon it was full, people waiting for spots. When we went it was $5 self pay to park (drop in an envelope). There are flushing toilets for use in the parking lot. Hike is small ups and downs for 3 Miles each way. Lots of sandy hiking. No water crossings. Some shady areas if you go in the morning from surrounding cliffs, but by midday there isn't much shade, so plan for sunscreen or hats. You will need water, it is hot in the day time. Might be bugs depending on the time of year. At a normal pace takes about an hour each way. Overall really pretty hike that should be good for most people. We saw a lot of kids doing it, but it was hot so not all of them were having a great time.
