A “Tavern Brewery” serving the Culpeper area that celebrates the German immigrant contribution to the American beer tradition but also embraces the variety of beer styles from over the world. Brewing and serving are all done in the same space, modeled after the small taverns that dotted the landscape before prohibition.

Our house beers are the classic German ales : Kolsch, Hefeweizen, and Altbier. There will always be a rotating variety of additional styles, including British ales, Belgian styles, and the American styles that are the envy of the world.

This is a great brewery with a very broad selection of beers. Their pizza is terrific, and has never failed to satisfy. Seating can be a challenge, but your patience will be rewarded. I promise. The staff are cheerful and accommodating. This place is one of Culpeper’s gems.

We got lucky and found out about music on a Saturday night. Staff friendly and while we didn't have food pizza was all around us and it looked good! Crowd was filled with good people and it was a family friendly environment.
