You might think that Donnie Crevier’s legacy would be all about BMW’s and the car business, but this is only a small part of the story. The legacy Donnie Crevier is leaving is far more expansive and has more to do with people than with cars.

Donnie’s own life story reads like a fiction novel, complete with divorced alcoholic parents, two marriages, two divorces, a daughter he didn’t know for years, a thriving business in the automotive industry and the list goes on. But, what’s most interesting is Donnie’s desire and determination to see kids at risk realize their dreams and live more fulfilling lives.

Donnie began his automotive career at Theodore Robins Ford as a new car salesperson in 1966 and became a new car sales manager in 1974. Donnie then joined his Father Bob and his Uncle Bill, at Crevier BMW and became a partner and continued to manage and operate the company until 2011.

Throughout his career, Donnie has not only been a successful business man, but he has been highly committed to helping youth by supporting their education. He is an active community advocate and has served on numerous boards including the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Rancho Community College Foundation, Kids On-Track, Orange County Human Relations Council, Western Medical Center, Orange County Motor Car Dealers Association, Think Together, Career Beginnings, Laguna Beach Playhouse, and is currently Chairman of the Board for High School Inc. Foundation.

Donnie has received multiple honors including the Orange County Human Relations Award, the Good Scout Award (Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America), School Power Hall of Fame, Rancho Santiago Community College District (First Annual Partner in Education Award), Business in the Arts Award, 2009 ROP Business Leader of the Year from Santa Ana Unified School District), and 2012 Citizen of the Year Award from the City of Santa Ana.
