  • You get a great view below and around the arch, much different than in Arches. The trail is pretty easy and short. Lots of people visiting there with you if you get there after 9:30 am.

  • Mesa Arch is an Islands in the Sky MUST! It’s a short walk from the parking lot. The afternoon view towards the La Sal Mountains through the arch is breathtaking! It’s popular and crowded so please.....  more

  • This place lives up to the hype. The view is quite amazing. I just wish people would behave when visiting these outstanding natural areas. I witnessed several people climbing the arch. This is not an amusement park. Educate yourself on how to carry yourself while in the outdoors and practice leave no trace principals. And for the love of all that is holy... Wear appropriate footwear!
  • Stopped here one evening in January, we were the only ones here as it was past sunset. Eerie and beautiful beyond measure. Short hike, easy trail to follow even in the twilight (dark). Gorgeous and life changing all rolled into one. Very very cool.
