We stayed at Kodachrome for 3 nights while visiting Zion and Bryce NP. It was a great stay. The park store had souvenirs as well as drinks and ice cream (which was nice after a long hot summer day!) The staff were all very friendly. The showers felt luxurious for a state park- what a treat! They also had a very clean and nice laundromat which was great for us on a long road trip. They also have a disc golf course which my husband loved! We didn’t have time to go on any hikes, but we did drive around and it was so beautiful. It was nice to come here after a crowded day at the national parks and feel like you have the views to yourself. Two of the loops are on gravel roads and only have a vault toilet. Try to get the full hookup loop if possible (it’s more scenic, has a paved road, and it’s where the showers are). Thank you Kodachrome for a great stay!

Kodachrome has the name for sure. Utah state parks are well done. Great looking campground (didn't stay, just visited). The area was as outstanding as the Grand Staircase Escalante NP. Rough road to chimney rock and Shakespeare arch trail, but were very awesome sights. The different hikes were equally awesome and easy hikes. We were here in early October and temps were in the low 70's, and pretty much had the place to ourselves..great for hiking... and dogs on leash allowed!
