  • Great place to visit that isn't as popular or crowded as Yosemite. Worth a stop or as an alternative if Yosemite is booked.

  • We enjoyed this amazing park med Jan 2022 and had a great time. The roads to the park were clear of all snow but when we got to the park there was a lot of snow to play in and enjoy. The park Rangers and Volunteers made the experience such a pleasure. We took the 1.6 mile trail that normally would have been super easy, but since the path was now tightly packed snow, it was a bit like ice skating the whole way, yet we still walked it in under an hour. This park has everything you need, plenty of parking, clean bathrooms with running water, water fountains, and a great gift shop and information museum. Go there now, you will really enjoy yourself; well worth the $10 entrance fee.
  • A must visit place if you are a big tree lover. There are trails you can enjoy waking. It's easy to spend about an hour or 2 hiking and exploring the nature here. The trails are maintained very well and it's an easy one for kids. The trees are amazing here. Parking could be challenging since it's very limited. You will get a spot but might be a bit of a wait until someone leaves. It's a 10$ for parking and cards are accepted. Restroom needs a better maintenance
