  • Great little hike for all ages (and bigger hikes for the experts). The history of the great Sequoia tree is amazing. The short film about the history was easy for any age to understand, informative and for the most part interesting. A + during those hot days is the AC in the gift shop/museum. They also sell commemorative water bottles filled with ice cold water for only $3. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. I'm glad I brought my children to experience what I got to as a child as well. Mahalo for your commitment and dedication folks. Help them stay this way with a donation. Not needed but greatly appreciated (no, I don't work here. I actually live in Hawaii. Just enjoy Calaveras Forest and all it has to offer).
  • Amazing! If you were nearby, please do yourself a favor and visit this park! The sequoia's are incredible. This is a jewel. Anything I can say would be an understatement. They also have a campground as part of the park. Their gift store we found to be enjoyable full of many wonderful gifts for young and old. Please come by and visit and be amazed!
