Features the extensive collection of James & Mary Ann Sandoro focusing on Buffalo’s transportation history highlighting Pierce-Arrow, Thomas Flyer, electric vehicles and automotive memorabilia, photos, paintings, art objects, vintage clothing, and an array of automotive artifacts gathered over more than 46 years of collecting.

“An ornament to the Pavement.” The Museum has expanded with an atrium which houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Filling Station designed for Buffalo in 1927 but never built until now. The unique station has a second story observation room with fire place, restrooms, attendant’s quarters with fireplace, extensive copper roof, two 45 foot poles that Wright called “totems,” and overhead gas distribution.

The Museum is available for banquets, parties, meetings, etc. Hold your event in the midst of the Museum’s unique collections. Call to coordinate your company party, reunion, or meeting. Air conditioned. Great ambiance.

  • What a surprise! This wasn’t a destination visit, but a lark because it came up pinned on Google Maps when I was exploring Downtown Buffalo. I’m a cosmo city person so when I visit other cities I...

  • A hidden gem. Heard about museum from "Chasing Classic Cars " and well worth the visit. Bonus was the FLW designed gas station surrounded by P-As.

  • Great selection of cars. Side displays are very well done and informative. I found the amount of placards on some cars got in the way of viewing the vehicles and the ropes around the cars spoiled my photos as well. Staff is superlative and really know the subject matters. Some motorcycles and cars were crowded and the museum could use a lot more space for their well cared for collection! I am so delighted that Buffalo has such a beautiful museum!
  • So many antique cars and a Frank Lloyd Wright building!! They built the FLW garage in the building from plans he designed!! Beautifully done!! There are old bikes, scooters, motorbikes, motorcycles, the first cars and so many beautiful antique cars!! They have so much to display that's still in boxes waiting to be displayed once they expand into the building next door!!
