Create an itinerary including Navajo/Queens Garden Loop
One of many moderate trails, Navajo/Queens Garden Loop remains one of the most popular options for hikers. The Navajo Loop passes through a narrow canyon popularly called "Wall Street"--you'll see why when you go through it. The Navajo/Qeens combo loop offers an easier ascent, allowing you to reach the famed Sunrise Point, then follow another trail back to your car for a satisfying round trip. • Queen's Garden Trail is moderate in length and difficulty, but it really packs an incredible amount of amazing scenery in a relatively short amount of time. It is best done as part of a loop hike with Navajo / Wall Street Loop or Peek-A-Boo (if it isn't closed because of rock falls). The loop is doable in either direction (I started at Queen's Garden and ended at Navajo) so which way is best depends on either lighting conditions or whether you want to take the Navajo switchbacks on the way down or up. Nearly impossible to get lost and you will have a lot of people on the trail with you at all times, but it is still a really enjoyable hike. Highly recommended
  • Hiked Queens Garden Trail shortly before sunset in July 2021. Did not complete the full trail as the sun was going to set soon and we wanted to view it from Sunrise Point and not be stuck on the trail in the dark. The trail was short and decently flat compared to the rest of the park. A very easy hike, more like a nature walk, offering views from within the canyon.
