Create an itinerary including Prospect Park
Designed by the same landscape architects who created Central Park, Prospect Park is home to Brooklyn's only lake, which spans 24 hectares (60 acres) and is surrounded by woodlands, walking paths, and lawns. The park is full of memorials, including the Litchfield Villa and a statue of General Lafayette. Stop first at the Boathouse visitor center for information on park events and attractions. Rent a bicycle to tour the trails if you want to cover a large area in a shorter amount of time. With our online itinerary creator, Brooklyn attractions like Prospect Park can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • One of the most beautiful places that Brooklyn have to offer, you can go there to relax chill have fun with your friends, usually before the Covid we used to go there every Sunday to the food festival it was amazing and I still miss it. hopefully one day things will get back to normal and we will be able to enjoy this beautiful nature that we have here.
  • I live at this park. From the waterfalls to the trails to the cute swans that live there. It's the best place. I spent a majority of my time there during the pandemic, I also used to go running a lot there. It's gorgeous in the Fall and it's amazing in the Spring. It's even beautiful in the snow you have to see it in every season and they do a great job in upkeeping the park. Very family friendly and just people Friendly altogether.
