Quite the impressive mining facility!! Found out out that the large hauling trucks cost 5 Million Dollars and the loaded trucks weigh 1.2 Million Pounds!! Get a chance, check out the mine!!

This was back when they didn't allow visitors into the mine and they had a temporary visitor center. This is a pretty impressive sight, definitely worth stopping over. It is the biggest copper mine in the world. The statistics about the mine are just astounding. They pull 400,000 tons from the mine....daily. Thus far since 1905, it has yielded 17 million tons of copper, 23 million ounces of gold and 190 million ounces of silver.
